This is a major generalization, but whilst men seem to prefer sitting in a freezer for 8 hours, women prefer a more comfortable, calm and warmer office (obviously I'm slightly biased). The battle over temperature control always lead to playful debates about how men (apparently) can't wear less because they need to wear a suit, but women can always wear more or less to accommodate for the surrounding temperature. This never ever seems to end with a definitive resolution and is repeated over and over again every time the building arbitrarily decides to reset itself. So dressing comfortably and in my case warm is not only a personal style thing, it's actually a survival thing especially in the summer.
