Photos by @CarltonWard | The Path of the Panther has led us to urban Miami, where I had an opportunity to share the story with new audiences during Art Basel through a collaboration with Mexican artist Diana Garcia. When Diana learned about the plight of the Florida panther, and the new hope offered by the first female panther since 1973 documented expanding the breeding range north of Everglades, she instantly connected with the story. Diana's gift of giving voice to animals led to a vision that placed the female panther at the center of the ecosystem being honored by many of the other species that the #PathofthePanther protects. Diana and I were brought together by developer Tony Cho, who understands that revitalizing urban cores is fundamental to improving communities and reducing the suburban sprawl that erodes wildlife habitat. It was inspiring to see peoples' surprise that these animals lived in Florida, and make the connection that their survival depends on us. #KeepFLWild
