“When mixed in like the reclamation of black nude: our bodies, you know, which were fetishized, or exoticized, which happens in the fashion industry. how then do we present images and show them fully and show them in detail without fetishizing them, without exoticizing them, and so that's something that I'm always interested in exploring, like in my work with "What's the Line". These are the comments of director and screenwriter #DeeRees during the press conference for the inauguration of the new film program of @FondazionePrada in Milan starting October 5, 2018, which includes screenings, movie marathons and discussions. The film program is structured in three strands - Soggettiva, Indagine and Origine - that correspond to specific days of the week.
A special event, featuring a public conversation between @TheasterGates, @OfficialSpikeLee, #DeeRees and #OkwuiEnwezor, inaugurated the program.
