Join us on Sunday 26 August for a very special curator tour of Reigning Men: Fashion in Menswear 1715-2015, with senior curator from MAAS, Roger Leong, and dress and textile historian, Hilary Davidson. After many years working in England, including being curator of fashion and decorative arts at the Museum of London, Hilary Davidson is currently based in her native Sydney where she continues to lecture, teach and publish in her field. Hilary is a doctoral student at La Trobe, Melbourne, an honorary associate at the University of Sydney, a consultant to the Oxford English Dictionary, and teaches dress history in Australia and internationally. Her major book on Regency clothing in the British world will be published in 2019 by Yale University Press, building on research into clothing belonging to Jane Austen.
