'Blue CJ750’ by Shi Jindian: this sculpture made of blue steel wire is a replica of the Chiangjiang military bikes, which were manufactured during the 1960s and ‘70s. Based on a Soviet reproduction of a BMW motorcycle, the CJ750 became a quintessential Chinese vehicle. The sculpture took artist Shi Jindian almost three years to make. This item is on loan from White Rabbit Collection, Sydney, and is on display now at the #powerhousemuseum in Reflections of Asia: Collectors and Collections.
