A boy from the Yukpa indigenous community stands on a makeshift house where he and his family sleeps on the border between Venezuela and Colombia. The Yukpa indigenous community live on the border between the two countries. 300 people made the long journey from the Sierra de Perija mountains in Venezuela to City of Cucuta in Colombia due to the food shortage and economic crisis Venezuela is undergoing. Shortly after this picture was taken the entire community was evacuated and sent back to Venezuela.
