I finally gave my keys back to my landlord tonight and everything really hit me. I came to Tennessee the day after I turned 18 to excitedly break free from the town I grew up in, and even though gigantic pieces of me will remain here, I know even more gigantic change is happening. I’m officially “homeless” and my journey of living nomadically for the indefinite future has begun. I’ve been so excited to travel I forgot how emotional it would be to leave certain ways of life behind. The restaurants that I became a regular at, the back roads that became my favorite to drive down, the big tree full of ivy in my backyard. The ways I have transformed over the past 5 years, the people who have changed my life, the experiences I’ve had. They’ve all brought me to this very moment, and I could not be more grateful. I know this change is exactly what I’m meant to do right now, but such huge shifts come with so many intense emotions. All of my possessions are in my car, but my heart is spread so far and wide. I am taking the next steps with complete trust in the Divine dance that is my life. I am a child at heart, meant to explore, meant to be free, meant to follow my bliss. I have always vowed to live my life that way, so I will continue to do just that. So here’s to this moment and to the dance ahead. Thank you, Universe. This or something better.✨?☀️?????
