It marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic month of dawn to dusk fasting and is one of Singapore’s top 3 festivals. Though it officially begins on June 18, the annual street light up in the Malay enclave of Geylang Serai started several weeks ago and will be up for 50 days till the end of June.
