Greer Lankton, photographed by her friend Nan Goldin. Lankton was an American artist whose own work was part of her lifelong exploration of – and difficult relationship with – the body and gender. For much of Lankton’s life, she battled with anorexia and is best known for her intense, emotionally charged dolls.
