I deployed a camera trap at this site for 15 months seeking to show wildlife inhabiting this remote South Florida swamp which is filled with water most of the year. Black bears depend on forests and can range hundreds of miles, reminding us of the importance of protecting large interconnected landscapes for wildlife and people.
