A man who'd seen the stray donkey lost under scorching heat, contacted Dana Algosaibi, a Saudi a horseback rider. With a severe left hind leg injury, his mobility in struggling through rubbish was difficult; Without food, shelter or medicine, Dana still insisted to take responsibility for his speedy recovery to survive.

Sadly, not all stables welcomed the donkey. Different veterinarians had been consulted, with one recommending euthanasia and the other suggesting Murphy to be taken for slaughter for lion food at a private zoo. Fortunately, the last veterinarian found that the hind leg was actually broken and also had a large tumor growth. Murphy has started analgesic and anti-ulcer medication daily.

Despite his leg injury, Murphy has twice managed to escape from the paddock to roam around the area. Although Dana and the other carers are not experts in donkey care they appreciate all the help, advice and support, to ensure a positive outcome for treatment for his injury and a bright future. #donkey #jeddah #saudiarabia #saudiwomen #animals
