Photo by @Cristina Mittermeier // Perhaps because they are adapted to survive under even the harshest of conditions, or maybe because they are mysterious and beautiful, I have a fascination with jelly fish. Chrysaora fuscescens also known as the common sea nettle lives in the East Pacific Ocean, from Canada to Mexico. Does it sting, you ask? Oh yeah! With a bell that can grow to be larger than one meter (three feet) in diameter its long tentacles are armed with stinging cells that are perfectly suited to catch any critter they come in contact with.
