Here’s a photo from the inside of Tutankhamun’s tomb, discovered #onthisday in 1922 by Howard Carter and his team. It was such a significant find because it was the only tomb dating from Egypt’s New Kingdom (c. 1550–1069 BC) to have been found substantially intact.
