[swipe ??] The Tanabata Matsuri in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa Prefecture. The Star Festival has been held in the city for decades and is one of the biggest in the Tokyo area. Tanabata is a time of year where the deities Orihime and Hikoboshi, literal star-crossed lovers, are able to meet and be together.
