A pair of brown booby seabirds rest on exposed coral in a rising tide that will cause their perch to vanish beneath the waves. Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park is the primary seabird rookery in the Philippines. Bird Islet is critical habitat for nearly 100 species of seabirds that use this eroding and shrinking islet in the center of the Sulu Sea.
