Part I on May 23 features longtime Rauschenberg collaborator Christian Wolff and explores Rauschenberg’s use of ordinary objects and materials in his paintings through recent musical compositions that use everyday sounds and images. Part II on May 24 celebrates Rauschenberg’s collaborations with John Cage and David Tudor through immersive works by both composers, reimagined for today by David Lang, Jody Elff, and Todd Reynolds.
