Photo by @daviddoubilet A red-spotted blenny gives me the glare from the the safety of its burrow on the Malayan Shipwreck on North Atoll in Tubbataha Reefs National Park. This rare little guy, smaller than your pinky is not an easy fellow to photograph: he/she is very shy, appears as dusk settles in and lives in a surge zone that throws you around like a rag doll. This national park located in the center of the Sulu Sea is an ocean wilderness and designated World Heritage Site. Getting here is not easy and the currents and marine encounters are not predictable, it is where the wild things are earning it the name Serengeti of the sea.
