Good morning Osprey fans! I'm back for the final day of my takeover!
Setting off across South Branch Pond, our goal was to hike the 10-mile Travelers Loop. We felt light on our feet as we left our sleds back at camp, but the winds were biting and the mercury didn't get above zero this day. After encountering variable conditions on the initial climb off the lake, we broke out above treeline and didn't need much convincing that completing the loop wasn't smart or safe. Making good decisions 20+ miles from the road requires a bit of humility and acceptance of getting humbled by mother nature. The loop will always be there and we'll be back to try it again some day. | ?: @mountains62 | #ospreypacks
