photo by @jenniferhayesig We snorkeled through a garden of icebergs in Scoresby Sund, the worlds largest fjord located in East Greenland. The sculpted ice glimmered like blue sapphires beneath an intense sun. Warming temperatures are causing Greenlands ice sheet to melt and glaciers to slide toward the sea at a faster rate. Icebergs are the perfect metaphor for the sea, only a small fraction is visible to the naked eye.
