Vladimir Kutenkov (@kutenkov) seeks something novel in the ordinary with the hashtag #howIvideoshoot. “I believe that our lives should never be considered to be boring or monotonous,” says the Moscow-based student. “You have to stop for a second and look more closely at everything that surrounds you. There are surprises all around you — it’s just that sometimes we fail to notice, we walk right past them.” Vladimir catches fleeting moments through his preferred medium. “Video broadens the scope, it doesn’t freeze time and it shares the atmosphere,” he says. “It’s extremely important the person watching the video is infused with something new, that they absorb and feel the mood I seek to impart.”
