Ankha Millo’s (@miss.ankha) former life as a dentist in Arunachal Pradesh, India, prepared her for her new path in photography. “It made me observe closely, taking all the little things into consideration,” explains 27-year-old Ankha. “I can understand certain emotions and body language of people which helps me to press the shutter at certain moments.” Ankha felt compelled to pursue photography full time a few months ago, and this weekend she’s taking in the sounds and sights of India’s Magnetic Fields Festival (@magneticfieldsfestival), a three-day music event set in the village of Alsisar in Rajasthan. “It’s my first time in a desert, so it’s something new to me,” she says. “I’m excited to meet the artists of all kinds, interact with the locals and create good moments.”
