On the way to Manu National Park (Peru) we stopped for one night camping on the shore of Madre de Dios river, at the mouth of the Manu river. We were lucky to have a cloudless night. The starry sky was unbelievable… so far away from civilization. This picture is from an expedition to Cocha Cashu biological station in Manu National Park, Peru. Our aim was to document the amazing diversity of animals that visit a fruiting fig tree deep in the Peruvian Amazon.
