Photo by @Tim Laman. This is the wild female orangutan named Walimah by researchers in #GunungPalung National Park. We were very excited to find her again this summer because she was injured in her foot badly in 2015, apparently by another orangutan. It was great to see that her foot was well healed and she was able to use it and getting around fine. She was the star orangutan in our film on the NatGeoWild Channel earlier this year called Mission Critical: Orangutans.
