This includes the world’s largest living primate, the eastern lowland gorilla, which has suffered a devastating population decline of more than 70% in 20 years due to habitat loss and poaching. But with action comes hope. I snapped this shot while working with @savinggorillas on a film project called “Hope.” The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund works tirelessly to track, monitor and protect these magnificent creatures, and preserve their habitats. #endangeredspecies #CoP17
