"Style is such a big word; we spend so much time here at style.com asking ‘what is style?’ I guess my answer is only that it just has to be something effortless, something innate, something that feels right for you. I don’t have a list of people who I think about when I hear that word, or particular style icons, but I suppose I’ve always been drawn to people who are natural in their own style – like all of Woody Allen’s characters feel very stylish to me, because they are so effortless, never overdone. I feel best when I don’t have make-up on, when my hair is as it is, and I’m wearing things that hang off my body: that’s when I feel good, when I feel like myself. That’s what I like about Miu Miu, that it doesn’t dress you – as much as it’s a strong statement, you can make it yours.”
