Monday Inspiration: It’s always summer somewhere in the world. Here, in the UAE where the temperature sits comfortably in the upper thirties for six months of the year, French architect Jean Nouvel has created a floating dome structure for the Louvre Abu Dhabi. This perforated shape evokes ‘rays of sunlight passing though the date palms in an oasis’. After many delays the Louvre Abu Dhabi is rumoured to be opening later this year.
