While photographing #OlympicNationalParks iconic #RubyBeach yesterday evening while #onassignment, my friend @arjandekock was taking full advantage of the swell at high tide, body surfing in the cold North Pacific water. Tucked in the rocks, I was working this composition of sea stacks when Arjan appeared in my view finder unexpectedly, climbing onto this small rock to look out into the oncoming waves while taking a breather. Focused intently he was inadvertently holding still long enough for me to snap off a handful of long exposure photos. Thanks Arjan, happy surfing out there!
