Neema is one of DRC's most fearless and devoted advocates for peace, women's rights and the disabled. Neema herself contracted polio at the age of two and while she requires crutches to help her walk, it in no way hinders her zeal to campaign on behalf of peace & equality. In 2012, she founded the Maman Shujaa Media Center that aims to empower women through digitally literacy and story telling.
