George Stinney Jr. , who was executed by electrocution at age 14 in the murder of two young girls in South Carolina is the youngest person executed in the U.S. In the 1900s. His trial, by a jury of 12 white men lasted 10 minutes and failed to provide a single circumstantial proof connecting George to the killings. He has since been exonerated 70 years after his wrongful execution.
