Every woman needs a gaggle of girlfriends to be completely themselves with and these three pictured (circa early '90s) are some of my dear heart friends. I met them in Tokyo in 1987: Sonia (right) was an extra in the movie I debuted in, and months later we ran into each other on the subway and she brought me into her circle of friends, each one as beautiful inside and out as she was and still is. Loretta Heywood (far left) is the voice on Bomb The Bass's "Winter In July" amongst other great tracks, and Brucella (2nd left) recently was a featured model in London's Fifty Plus Fashion Week. This year marks Sonia's leap into 50, and it's my hope to get to London to welcome her into the 50s club and celebrate friendship and love with my girls! #wishlistwednesday
