He seemed tentative but curious enough to come for a closer look. I felt his breath on my face. I wanted to reach out and touch his shaggy, wind-blown winter coat.
Natgeo magazine published my story about mustangs and that has evolved into a Wild at Heart, a book about horses and young people trying to save herds in the West.
