Bears tend to be solitary animals, never herding together and while spending the majority of their lives on their own. But in certain areas of large food supply the bears group together and socialize a bit more than normal. That was the case here where these four bears, and three others not pictured, just seemed to come together around a productive area of the creek in the Alaska Peninsula. They played and slept, and even fished for salmon together in an extremely friendly manner. Even a white wolf arrived at the creek side and mingled with the brown bears like he was one of them.
