It's always such a treat to be able to look out the window at the day's conditions and drive 10 minutes to a place such as this. The Lone Cypress not only is the symbol for Pebble Beach and the Monterey Peninsula, but also holds the title for being the most photographed tree in the world. With that said, I figured it'd be worth trying to find a new angle to photograph this natural landmark. Sure enough, just a few feet off the road, you can find a little hidden trail that gives you this unique perspective. As the sun set over a rather calm and still ocean, the sky erupted in orange and pink hues, which was absorbed by the rocks and water. The ocean and coastline never ceases to amaze me living here.
