Photo by @jtkerby | Gelada monkeys scurry towards the safety of their sleeping cliffs at dusk. | As the sun sets each day, geladas grab a few final mouthfuls of grass before briskly returning to their perches on the edge of Ethiopia's Great Rift Valley. When darkness settles, their chatter turns shrill and the herd is easy to startle. This can be a good time to experiment with different photo techniques as they run through the diminishing light. Here a long shutter speed and a tracking motion blurs the many flowers in the foreground while preserving the shapes of the two geladas.
