MoMA’s Junior Associates visited the Lower East Side Printshop last week to learn about artist Ryan McGinness's printmaking process (see more at the link in our profile). McGinness is using his current residency to create a new series of works called "Mother and Child" inspired by photographs of his wife and daughter. “I’m interested in the push and pull between the figurative and the abstract," he said.
