留学生「5月28日は花火の日なんだって。隅田川ではじめて花火が打ち上げられた日なんだってさ。ところでこの街にも花火大会ってあるの？」
弟「そういえば無いな」
母「あなたたちが生まれる前にはあったのよ。いろいろあって、なくなってしまったけれど…」
LAVIE Cityに花火大会が無いのには、何か理由がありそうです。

iStudent: 「I hear that the 28th of May is Fireworks Day. This is the day on which fireworks were set off for the first time, over the Sumida River. Do you have a fireworks display in this town too?」
LittleB: 「Come to think of it, no...」
Mother: 「There used to be, before you kids were born. Then things happened...it got cancelled...」
There may be a story behind why there are no fireworks displays in LAVIE City.
