It's really just been all bears these past few weeks! With every bear waking up out of hibernation and longing regain all the fat they lost over winter, they are out and about more than ever. This black bear cub was high up in a tree with his other two siblings the other day as the sow fed on the grass below. With shorter and more curved claws, black bears can climb trees their entire lives while their cousins, grizzly bears, can only do so the first year or two of their lives, as their claws are longer and used more for digging.
