Record Store Day celebrates the UK’s independent stores. With our London store on Berwick Street, home to many Vinyl stores, we will be supporting the day by commissioning Benjamin Murphy to hand draw some iconic album covers. Benjamin Murphy is a London based visual artist known for his work in hand cut electrical tape and a distinctive style influenced by poetry and classic literature, innocence, chaos and vice. The album covers will be displayed in the Underground store during the week of Record Store Day and the prints reproduced on limited edition Tote bags that will be available with a product purchase. The original prints signed by Benjamin will be made available for sale after the event.
