On November 10th in Geneva, @Christieswatches held an important watches auction. In that lot was this Extremely rare titanium experimental prototype of a divers watch with a sweepings seconds hand and tropical dial. The auction also included 3 limited edition technical drawings of the watch signed by Alessandro Bettarini. Bettarini was the head of Panerai’s Mechanical Design Department during this time.  This piece featured a Cal.2750 automatic moment and the inside case was engraved with Bettarini’s Signature. The watch is circa 1985 and the drawings were dated between 1983 and 1984. This lot closed in auction for $287,856 USD. Thanks to my good friend @smoshtag for the heads up. #PaneraiCentral.#Panerai
