107 years ago today: The "Nation's Number One Singing Cowboy" Gene Autry is born in Tioga, Texas. This is a 1938 recording of some of his "cowboy songs." His first big hit was "That Silver-Haired Daddy of Mine" in 1931. He went on to make 635 recordings as well as many feature films. Sounds like a good day to follow @theautry on Instagram! #yehaw
