Initially introduced in 1998 the #Panerai PAM28 was a very interesting piece with some unique features. It was made only for 2 years then reintroduced at the 2009 SIHH. The 2009 which is pictured here featured a SOPROD 9400 calibre movement like the original one. The case of this model is actually DLC and not PVD, giving it a very dark gray color instead of the normal black that you have seen. The PAM28 features a hobnail dial and has a central seconds hand. Also the power reserve on this model is right in the middle of it which is a bit different.
