Today on my way home I rescued this little treasure.
When I moved to the UK I didn't bring my sewing machine with me. And I got really sad lately, because I love it so much.
Today I had a bad evening and passed a shop window. They sold used washing machines etc and this. I went in though I thought the price for a used one would still be over 100£ I asked.
It was £20.
It still got a manual and I found some extras inside.
Whoever had kept it until they bought it up, had no idea about how to treat this little wonder, as its cover was 90% dirt. I cleaned it, oiled it, tried it and now it's perfectly fine again. I can sew and feel like I'm home again. #cry #singer #sewing #sewingmachine
