#GLCO Founder and Creative Director @calisunleight designing frames since birth. When I first signed up for instagram there was no such thing as Garrett Leight California Optical or #GLCO. At the time I had just opened up @akinneycourt and I spent most of my days working retail dispensing prescription eyewear to some of our first customers. For me, Instagram was a nice source of personal expression where I felt free to really share the things that I found beautiful, funny, or delicious, in general. With the growth of our company as well as social media and the opportunity it can provide a brand for growth, the time has come for me to take the @ジーエルシーオー handle in a more branded direction. It's important that there is a universal voice heard through all of our branded social media platforms and that voice is not just mine alone. This instagram will now be a collaborative expression of the core of #glco as a company and brand which can be followed to see what inspires us and to keep up with what we are doing.
