Today in 1998: At age 15, Tara Lipinski becomes the youngest gold medalist in figure skating when she wins the gold at the Olympic Winter Games in Nagano, Japan.
This costume was worn by Kristi Yamaguchi, who became the first Asian American woman to win a gold medal in Olympic competition when she finished first in women's singles at the 1992 winter games in Albertville, France.
