Just over a year ago, at the age of 20, Amanda Jasnowski (@hokaytokay) left her home in Ohio to pursue photography in New York City.

For Amanda, whose photos explore light and patterns, Instagram provides an outlet for daily creation. "The constant practice of taking photos every day has really helped me grow as a creative and helped further my aesthetic," she says. "More than anything I hope people take away a sense of appreciation of the small things in life and the beauty that is here if you are looking. Humanity is a beautiful thing."
