Pretending I’m in Paris🇫🇷🎄
Côte is one of those restaurants where you know you will always get good food and offers French inspired dining. Côte Woking also has great staff, they’re friendly, knowledgeable, polite and attentive which makes for a great lunch experience.

We opted for the Christmas taste Menu de Noël, as it is the festive season🎄✨ The menu is a three course set meal costing £37.95 per person.

We started off with these two new Christmas cocktails :
🍸 Sloe Pétiller
Portobello sloeberry & blackcurrant gin, lemon juice & cream soda, garnished with redcurrants.

🥃 Blanc Noël
The rich and Creamy Blanc Noël mixes Vodka, Mr Black coffee liqueur, cream & Norfolk Nog whisky cream, garnished with a cinnamon stick & dusted with cocoa powder.

And for starters, we had the Smoked Salmon Tartare and Prawn Thermidor.
The starters served with sourdough baguette.
Smoked salmon tartare consisted on marinated beetroot with citrus crème fraîche & dill and King prawns cooked in a lobster mornay gratin with Comté cheese, an apple & herb garnish.

For the mains, we enjoyed :
🥘 Turkey Paupiette
British turkey breast with pork & apricot stuffing wrapped in streaky bacon. Served with sage gratin dauphinois, braised red cabbage, French beans, Tenderstem broccoli, Chantenay carrots & cranberry jus.
🥩 Sirloin (8oz) served with frites & a green salad.

For dessert we went for the Chocolate salted caramel tart with raspberries & vanilla ice cream and The winter spiced crème brûlée to make the most of December’s delights!
