Trooper & Tyler McGibbon, Labrador Retriever Service Dog & Retired U.S. Army SGT, Philadelphia, PA • Tyler, Trooper and I head to the @philadelphiaeagles vs 49ers game. Trooper, a service dog from @americasvetdogs, demonstrates his ability to work in environments with distractions and loud noises. Tyler served in the U.S. Army in Kuwait, and suffered a catastrophic injury after being thrown from a military vehicle. After coding seven times and being in a coma for three months, he has since undergone 2,482+ physical, speech, and music therapy appointments to make the recovery he did. To this day, Tyler has elected to forgo pain medication. Trooper helps Tyler with mobility, retrieving items, and companionship. @tyler19delta
