She tells Grazia she was a fragile kid battling with a severe form of asthma. Her first casting, booked at age 12, was her remarch. Since then, she became a star, able to provide for her family: “My mom quit her job to take me to auditions. The second income in the family, besides my dad’s, was mine” she recalls. One day though, during her first pregnancy, an allergic reaction forced her to stop and think about a new challenge: create a company of clean and sustainably-designed products. Today her company is a huge success and she is an inspiration to many young women: “To see women at the top is important because often people don’t think they can reach certain positions if they don’t see an example”, she says, because sometimes, the best cure is to never give up.
