Federal agents say Social Status and A Ma Maniere owner, James Whitner, is involved in an international multi-million dollar money laundering scheme 😳💸

Court filings show that an “Oregon-based sneaker company” prohibited Whitner and his businesses from selling said sneaker company’s sneakers and apparel to following: outside the U.S., to another retailer, and to any person Whitner knew would resell the products.

However, IRS investigators claim Whitner sold them to a Chinese national who then resold the items — at least $32 million worth — over a five-year period. 💰💰
