Friends,
When my dad passed in Dec of 2018, there was a small bag of gemstones he had been saving for me, along with a note, found in his home.
The note read: “Rachel, please keep in remembrance of me. ..I’ll always love you, in this lifetime & the next..” 😢

I took the loose gemstones and coins my father left me to my girlfriend @jacquieaiche together we made the most precious pieces of jewelry that I owned, and wore in remembrance of him. 🥹

During the home invasion this summer, the men that robbed us took all of the jewelry I had from my father.

I do believe they will one day find their way back to me. After all they stole a number of all seeing eyes of protection 🧿imbedded with my dad’s energy and spirit.

He was a complicated man, he came to America on his own, eldest of 13, born Hindi, missionaries taught him to be Seventh-Day Adventist as a child, and in his adulthood, he tried a variety of religions and spiritualities. He even called himself a swami. He had his share of struggles, taught me so much about independent thinking, living life outside of the box, creativity, style, humor, entrepreneurship and faith.
He was eccentric and oh so interesting.
He passed away from cancer that he refused to have treated.
Very stubborn Indian man 🇮🇳that I loved dearly.
